Designed strictly for racing applications, this fuel cell offers the most bang for your buck for the Polaris RZR. Built around the XP1000 chassis this fuel cell can be used on either a 2-seat or 4-seat chassis and is capable of being placed either under the front seats or behind them. Because of the volume and size of the fuel cell certain modifications to the seat brackets is required for a proper fit. Additionally, a proper system of straps or other mounting hardware must be made in order to secure the fuel cell to the chassis. Once in, no other modifications to the fuel system or wiring are required as the unit uses the stock pump assembly and stock sender float arm. The HFP-6251SP fill plate offers the widest variety of hardware configurations for your vehicle and is capable of supporting the use of dump cans, dry breaks, aftermarket sending units, and aftermarket fuel pumps if so desired. With a 20 gallon capacity and full FIA certification this fuel cell is approved for competition use worldwide.
Each unit is manufactured with an extra-wide tunnel capable of handling both XP1000 and XP1000 Turbo drive shafts. Additionally, each unit comes with a stainless steel protection plate to allow removal of the stock guard (for lower mounting) while increasing the strength and overall safety of the unit.
The HFP-6251SP fill plate is extremely versatile to handle filling via at the pump, jug, dump can, or fueling tower. The 1.00" diameter vent allows for quick refueling and the standard 10 B.C. cutout allows for a wide variety of stock and aftermarket fuel pump assemblies.
The chamfered bottom permits the unit to be mounted low in the vehicle, allowing more room for installation of aftermarket racing seats.
