Fabricator

Our Fabricators have a very challenging job.  It involves replicating a fuel cell can.  Seems simple until you see some of our designs.
The challenge is in making correct reductions allowing for the thickness of the coating to be applied.  Still seems simple.  The reductions are not equal around.  Depending on lid style, angles, notches and sumps, will make the reduction different, but the result has to be the same, a tight fit in the can.  Any sloshing or movement around in the can from the bladder will cause wear on the bladder causing  a tear or pin hole.
There is the challenge.

Responsibilities

Fabricators responsibilities are to create a finished mold to the exact measurements of the inside of the aluminum can.
Its a 2 step process.  First you build it with cardboard, cloth it up then it move on to be coated.
Everyone is dependent on Fabrication to it being the correct measurements and plate locations marked.
You can make mistakes prior to it being coated.  Once coated it better be write.  If its wrong it cost to replace it in that
the labor, and material cost.  But the biggest problem is that when it's wrong, it puts the customer behind in his build,
which also cost him money.  And we do have a reputation to uphold, "no one does it better than Harmon"
